The Hotel Augusta is located in Vilanova del Vallès at a crossroads which connects Vallès with Maresme and Besós. The town is historically linked with agriculture and livestock, thanks to the proximity of the river Mogent. Although in the sixties, the town underwent a major transformation through industrialization with the arrival of a highway and urban growth.

Located in a charming landscape with lovely views, Sant Esteve Church can be found, documented from the tenth century and popularly known as the Sanctuary of Santa Quiteria.

The current building combines three architectural styles: Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance. The gathering of Santa Quiteria is celebrated annually, which coincides with Easter Monday.
