Wild asparagus

Asparagus acutifolius

Lianoid and branched bush, typical of the undergrowth of holm oaks and pine forests. Its leaves are narrow, small and stiff.

Its tender shoots, thin and long, are edible and highly valued by asparagus “hunters”.
